Welcome to our home in the hills

A post-and-beam house, lovingly restored.

We're so happy to have you here! Our 1954 post-and-beam house has been lovingly restored throughout our 20+ years of ownership. Since we bought it, it's been home to me and my two daughters, two dogs, three cats, and even a frog!

From family movie nights in the living room to wine tastings on the patio, we've made countless memories here — and we can't wait for you to make your own. Anything you need during your stay, just reach out.

Settling In

The Basics

Wi-Fi Networkiheartstudiocity
Passwordstudiocitymcm

Free Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Parking

Feel free to park in the carport connected to the house. Extra parking is on the south side of Laurelcrest Drive — please be sure not to block any of our neighbors' driveways!

Pets & coyotes

We love animals and are happy to have yours. If you've brought a furry friend, please pick up after them inside and in the backyard. This is the LA hills, so you may encounter a coyote — keep an eye on your pets when heading out after dark.

The kitchen

Help yourself to any food or cooking tools you find. Please, no eating in the bedrooms.

The gardener

He comes on Tuesdays and lets himself into the backyard through the side gate — nothing you need to do.

Towels & linens

Extra towels and linens for all the beds are in the large closet in the room with two beds.

Candles & smoking

Burning candles is not allowed. Smoking is limited to our private yard.

A note on ants

Please don't leave any open food on the counter. We spray weekly, but when it gets hot they may still find their way in. Extra bug spray is in the kitchen.

A quirk worth knowing

The outlets in the office are wired to the light in the second bedroom — they'll only be ON when that bedroom's light switch is ON. Weird, we know.

Longer stays · housekeeping

Staying a while? My housekeeper can do a three-hour clean for $100 — just ask.

Longer stays · plants

If you're here more than a week and don't mind someone popping in to water the plants, let us know.

A small favor

Enjoying your stay??

A five-star Google review means the world to my little business — and Google takes reviews from anyone, not just real estate clients, so it helps me there far more than on Airbnb. If you have a minute, I'd be so grateful. 🙂
